Buildings Intern - Summer 2027 STV, Inc. dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia 1818 Market St (Show on map) Aug 31, 2026 STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.

Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.

Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.

Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.

Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.

Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.

Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.

Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Required:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.

Knowledge of design codes and standards. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Compensation Range:

$47,959.00 - $54,498.00 STV offers the following benefits
