Architect The Weber Studio Key Biscayne, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $40 - $80 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Architectural design Building code compliance CAD Architecture Mid-level 3 years Bachelor's degree in architecture Bachelor of Architecture Organizational skills Construction administrative experience Construction documentation Master of Architecture Permitting phase involvement Construction administration project phase Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Architect with strong technical expertise in producing high-quality construction documents. This role is focused on translating design intent into clear, accurate, and coordinated drawing sets suitable for permitting and construction. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in documentation standards, understands building systems thoroughly, and takes ownership of drawing quality and coordination across disciplines. Key Responsibilities Prepare, develop, and coordinate complete construction document sets (plans, sections, details, schedules) Translate conceptual and schematic designs into fully resolved technical drawings Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all sheets and disciplines Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, landscape) to integrate all systems into the documents Identify and resolve conflicts, gaps, and constructability issues during documentation Maintain and enforce office CAD/BIM standards Participate in code analysis and ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and regulations Support permitting processes and respond to plan review comments Assist during construction administration by reviewing submittals, RFIs, and revisions as needed Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) 3+ years of experience in architectural documentation Demonstrated strength in producing construction documents for built projects Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and detailing Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage documentation tasks with minimal oversight What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in producing clean, precise, and well-coordinated drawings A problem-solver who anticipates issues before they reach the field A technically strong architect who can bridge design intent and construction reality A reliable team member who can own the documentation phase of a project How to Apply Please submit your resume and a portfolio demonstrating construction document sets, detailing, and coordination experience.
