Architectural Designer Job Description We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on K-12 projects through various stages including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. Responsibilities Lead K-12 projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. Produce and modify Revit-based drawing sets, including plans, sections, elevations, and details. Assist with redlines, revisions, and coordination across disciplines such as structural, MEP, and civil. Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and adherence to firm standards. Participate in internal coordination meetings and occasional client or consultant meetings. Assist senior staff with code research, basic detailing, and documentation support. Essential Skills Proficiency in Revit and architectural design. Experience in construction documents and schematic design. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Accredited degree in Architecture. 2+ years of post-graduate, professional experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Open to entry-level candidates with strong internships. Experience in commercial projects; residential experience is not required. Work Environment Join our mid-sized architecture firm with a focus on K-12 projects in the Chicagoland area. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
