Job Description

Job Title:
Architectural Designer Job Description We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to assist in developing schematic designs, participate in meetings with consultants and client representatives, and contribute to the production of construction documents. This role involves coordination with engineering consultants throughout all phases of the project and performing construction administration duties. Additionally, you will be involved in marketing efforts, including attending presentations to prospective clients. Responsibilities Develop schematic designs in collaboration with the project team. Participate in meetings with consultants and client representatives to ensure alignment and project success. Assist in the production of comprehensive construction documents. Coordinate effectively with engineering consultants throughout all project phases. Perform construction administration duties to ensure project quality and compliance. Contribute to marketing efforts by attending and presenting at prospective client presentations. Essential Skills Professional degree in Architecture. At least 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in Senior Care or Multi-Family projects is preferred. Work Environment This position offers flexibility with a remote work environment, but you also have the option to work onsite at the Louisville office if preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
Vacation Time/ Personal Time/ Sick Leave:
total of 15 days per year, prorated at approximately 2.3 hours per workweek. Accumulated vacation time will not "expire" at the end of the year - you will be able to use it at any time you choose, or can "sell" your vacation time back based on your current hourly rate at the time of this transaction.
Holidays:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
Medical Insurance:
will reimburse up to $250.00 per month ($3,000.00 per year) towards the employee medical insurance coverage, including prescription drug coverage and dental plan (eligible the first day of employment). You are welcome to use these funds to join our company's health plan (eligible after 30 days of employment) or use it for any other plan of your choosing.
Simple IRA Plan:
will match employee's contribution to the plan up to 3% of employee salary. Will be eligible after 12 months of employment. Will compensate you for the cost of study materials and successfully completed licensing or LEED exam (at the time of completion of each exam). Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
