As our Architectural Designer, you'll help shape the look, feel, and flow of our restaurants—from brand-new locations to exciting remodels and special projects. You'll turn big ideas into practical, buildable designs that balance style, function, and that signature Texas Roadhouse experience our guests love. If you enjoy collaborating, problem-solving, and seeing your designs come to life—we've got a seat at the table for you. •This is an on-site position working a hybrid schedule at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky What's On Your Plate Create detailed architectural and kitchen equipment drawings (AutoCAD) for new builds, remodels, and special initiatives Partner with Design, Construction, Operations, and Procurement to deliver smart, functional spaces Review and maintain CAD/PDF drawing sets to ensure accuracy and brand consistency Support remodel projects through site verification and adapting designs to real-world conditions Produce custom drawings and updates to support ongoing restaurant needs Maintain and evolve prototype drawing libraries and design standards Coordinate material selections and samples to support design decisions Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to keep projects moving on time Your Recipe for Success Degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of architectural drafting/design experience (restaurant, hospitality, or commercial preferred) Strong AutoCAD skills (SketchUp/Revit a plus) Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail A proactive, problem-solving mindset and team-first attitude Why You'll Love Your Job As our founder Kent Taylor said, "We're a people-first company that just happens to serve steaks."
