Pay:

DwellArc Architecture + Design is a well-established sole-proprietor architectural design studio located in Santa Monica. This position is a subcontractor position averaging 20 hours per week and is available immediately. Drafter /

Designer:

This is an excellent opportunity to work one-on-one with a California-licensed architect. Compensation is based on performance and experience. Interested candidates who meet the following criteria should contact us immediately:

Qualifications:

Applicants must be located in the Los Angeles area and available for occasional in-person meetings. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. SketchUp experience is helpful. Experience and knowledge of Type V projects. Knowledge of local municipal codes and the CBC is helpful. Experience and knowledge of architectural design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, and construction techniques are required. Well organized, precise, and attentive to detail. Proficiency in design concepts and presentation, as well as construction documentation, is required. BArch or MArch from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
