This position is primarily based in Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA; or Fort Lauderdale, FL. Alternative locations may be considered on a case-to-case basis including fully remote. What We're Looking For 4 years of bridge engineering drafting experience is preferred, not required Entry level with no experience may be considered Knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD drafting software Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software (Preferred) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other team members Ability to effectively receive and convey ideas and information with co-workers and other team members Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred) What You'll Do Assist with the development of 3D design models Draft plans and detailed drawings for transportation projects such as bridges and highways, working from discussions, sketches, or notes Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to develop contract plans Correlate and interpret data obtained from topographical surveys and borings reports Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, using blueprinting, photography, or other duplicating methods Maintain technically current methodologies Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks Calculate Pay Item quantities Perform additional tasks, assignment, duties, assigned Why Join Us?
