$160,000-$200,000 per year A respected California architecture firm focused on educational facilities is hiring a Design Director to lead design efforts on

K-12 / K-14

projects. This role is ideal for a senior architect with strong California educational project experience , a proven design background, and the ability to lead presentations, support business development, and help guide overall design quality across projects. What You'll Do Lead design direction on educational projects Help establish standards, policy, and long-term design goals Support project design quality and consistency Participate in proposals, interviews, and business development Present to districts, Boards of Education, and communities Collaborate with leadership, operations, and project teams Support design efforts across multiple office locations What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Architecture California Architect license required 7+ years of design experience Experience designing K-14 school facilities Strong communication and presentation skills Strong leadership and collaboration skills Public-sector or educational project background strongly preferred DSA experience is a plus Benefits Medical, dental, vision Paid time off and holidays Life, AD&D, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match
