Pay:
Project Architectural Designer We are a small, design-focused residential architecture studio seeking a Project Architectural Designer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role working directly with the Principal across all phases of a project, from early concept through construction. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the design process, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable balancing multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Principal to develop design concepts and detailed project drawings Translate design intent into clear, well-coordinated documentation in Revit and/or CAD Assist in guiding and reviewing the work of junior staff as the team grows Maintain and organize project files, including drawing sets and internal documentation Help establish and maintain Revit and CAD standards and project templates Communicate drawing progress and coordinate with the Principal as needed Construction Administration Review submittals for accuracy and coordinate with the Principal prior to submission to the GC/builder Perform site visits during construction to ensure work is progressing in alignment with the design intent and overall project schedule Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential architecture, with strong preference for high-end residential work Licensure a plus Strong proficiency in CAD Working knowledge of Revit and experience with visualization tools such as Enscape, Lumion and SketchUp also a plus Comfortable taking initiative and working with minimal oversight Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once Clear and professional communicator who works well within a small team Thoughtful, flexible, and detail-oriented, with a good sense of humor Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience Retirement plan with employer contributions Discretionary bonus based on performance and overall studio success Paid time off, including office closure between December 24 and January 1 Hybrid work model with a mix of in-person and remote time possible
