A worldwide leader in radiation shielding solutions is hiring a Radiation Shielding Designer in Burlington, MA! This is a unique opportunity to join a highly specialized, one-stop-shop company that handles everything from customer estimates and architectural coordination to manufacturing support, offering flexible scheduling, hybrid potential, and the chance to grow into a niche industry where talented designers are in high demand. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Radiation Shielding Designer position include: 1+ years of design experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. Associate degree is a plus; structural, mechanical, architectural, or engineering background is highly preferred. Radiation shielding design experience is not required, but candidates must be coachable and eager to learn a specialized industry. Create and support shielding design plans for projects involving architects, manufacturing teams, customers, and internal engineering staff. Assist with project estimates and customer-facing design needs. Collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and leadership across multiple office locations. Work in a flexible environment with potential hybrid or remote options depending on experience and fit. Support a fast-growing design team while learning highly specialized radiation shielding applications.
Salary:
$70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
