Job Description

Job Title:
Structural Design Engineer Job Description As a Structural Design Engineer, you will perform structural engineering analysis and design for bridge and transportation-related structures, with additional exposure to building structures including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems. Primary duties will focus on bridge structural design and inspection, but we are seeking a versatile engineer with broad interests in structural engineering, including building structures. Responsibilities Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions. Perform site inspections for projects engineered by our office. Complete and review design calculations; assist in preparing drawings and specifications. Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects. Coordinate work products with other in-house engineering staff and architects. Contribute to projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale infrastructure and new construction. Essential Skills Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. 4-8 years of related experience. Proficiency in structural design and engineering. Experience with AutoCAD. Understanding and application of code requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications PE preferred (EIT required; active progress toward licensure expected). Experience in using various civil/analysis software.
