May 1, 2026 : Position Summary As an Intermediate Level Structural Designer, you will be a key contributor to the design team, responsible for developing design concepts and producing 2D and 3D deliverables. You will support the development of structural models in Revit or other design software for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabrication and support facilities. Your responsibilities will include producing complete sets of structural plans and details that reflect the project's scope and comply with both department and client standards. You are expected to manage your workload independently, take ownership of your work, uphold your commitments, and maintain strong attention to detail. You will support coordination efforts and contribute to team execution, with opportunities for growth based on your performance, capability, and initiative. Duties and Responsibilities Develop 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketches. Produce complete drawings or portions of drawing sets for assigned scope. Apply department and client standards consistently with normal review and feedback. Take ownership of assigned scope within defined direction and project requirements. Verify completeness and accuracy of your work prior to submission. Support coordination with related disciplines as required for assigned scope. Participate in coordination, QA/QC, BIM, or similar processes as assigned. Support team coordination and contribute to group task execution within assigned scope. Execute tasks independently after initial direction without step-by-step instruction for routine work. Seek guidance and clarification when scope, standards, or direction are unclear. Support team members by addressing needs. Advance design automation skills and embrace emerging technologies. Contribute to a collaborative team environment and uphold a Culture of Care. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completed coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design. Minimum of 2 years drafting/design experience in the structural field. Minimum of 1 year Revit experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent. 3 years of Revit experience. Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam. Experience designing traditional steel and concrete structures. Experience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related. Location This position is hybrid and requires you to live within 50 miles of the electronics office in Tempe, AZ. You will be expected to work in the office at least two days per week.
