Structural Drafter (Revit)
Location:
Brea, CA (Onsite) Build the Backbone of Real Projects A well‑established structural engineering team is looking for a Structural Drafter who genuinely enjoys producing high‑quality drawings and being part of an engineer‑driven project environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean documentation, enjoys collaborating with engineers in the office, and wants steady exposure to industrial and commercial structures. This is not an architectural or civil drafting role—and it's not a stepping stone to licensure. It's a true production drafting position supporting real design and construction work. What You'll Be Doing You'll support structural engineers by turning calculations and redlines into coordinated, construction‑ready drawings. + Produce and update structural drawings in Revit (primary tool) + Translate engineer redlines into accurate plans, sections, and details + Support steel and concrete structural systems + Maintain drawing quality, consistency, and standards + Coordinate closely with engineers in a collaborative office setting + Balance multiple active projects in a production‑focused role Projects typically include industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and manufacturing structures. What We're Looking ForRequired + Strong Revit experience (this is essential) + Structural drafting background (steel and/or concrete) + Ability to work from engineer direction with minimal supervision + High attention to detail and pride in drawing accuracy + Comfortable working onsite alongside engineers Nice to Have (Not Required) + Industrial or heavy commercial project experience + Senior drafting background (10+ years) + Exposure to Revit automation, programming, or efficiency tools We're open to both Senior drafters and mid‑level drafters (~3+ years) who are technically strong and eager to contribute. What This Role Is (and Is Not) A structural production drafting role Hands‑on, Revit‑focused work Long‑term, stable project backlog Not an engineering position Not architectural drafting Not a licensure or PE track Not remote‑only Education & Licensure + No licensure required + No PE, SE, or certifications expected + Evaluated purely on drafting skill and Revit capability Why This Role + Engineers value and rely on strong drafters here + Work is steady, technical, and meaningful + Clear expectations and hands‑on collaboration + Opportunity to be a long‑term contributor, not a stopgap If you're a structural drafter who enjoys producing drawings, working closely with engineers, and being in the heart of project execution, this role is worth a conversation.
