Oil & Gas / Offshore Engineering Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to support a major offshore oil and gas development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality structural design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and produce structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore facilities. Prepare detailed structural layouts, fabrication drawings, and construction deliverables. Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure design integration. Review and update design documentation in accordance with project requirements. Support model reviews, clash resolution activities, and design optimisation. Ensure all design activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Participate in design reviews and project meetings as required. Provide technical guidance to junior designers when necessary. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Design, Drafting, or a related discipline. Significant experience in structural design within the oil and gas industry. Strong offshore platform design experience preferred. Proficiency with industry-standard 3D design software such as Smart 3D, PDMS, E3D, Tekla, or equivalent. Familiarity with international design codes and standards. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
