We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.

Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.

Austin, TX About the Team The Design Studio Architectural team is looking for a talented, motivated, and creative individual to join us in a rewarding and fast-paced work environment. The candidate will work alongside the Studio Architects and will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a wide range of local and international architectural projects. The position is located at Tesla's Global Headquarters in Austin and provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in architectural design within the electric vehicle industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, quick to adapt, and must be a communicative team player. What You'll Do Design concept ideation Materials, finishes and systems research Architectural and interior detailing Site visits and observations reports for data gathering Renderings, diagrams, and design presentations Work with team to take projects from concept to completion What You'll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field A genuine interest in Tesla's mission and the electric vehicle industry Modeling and documentation software (Revit (must), Rhino (preferred)) Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Experience with rendering (Enscape, TwinMotion) All candidates MUST submit a portfolio/personal website to be considered for this position Compensation and Benefits Benefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
