Drawing Checker Responsibilities & Duties Review and Verify Accuracy:
Examine engineering drawings/3D models, architectural plans, and schematics for correctness, completeness, and consistency with design intent.
Compliance Checking:
Ensure drawings meet applicable industry codes, regulations, and project requirements.
Error Detection and Correction:
Identify discrepancies, dimensional inaccuracies, or missing specifications, and recommend or implement corrections. Collaboration with
Design Teams:
Work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve design issues and ensure clarity of drawings.
Documentation and Logs:
Maintain drawing logs and records of all revisions, changes, and approvals. Communication with
Stakeholders:
Liaise with clients, contractors, and construction teams to confirm understanding and address concerns.
Staying Updated:
Keep current with industry trends, new technologies, and changes in standards or regulations. Drawing Checker Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks/Tekla)
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
