Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to create design models and documents for clients, fabrication, and construction. You will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and managing design responsibilities throughout the project timeline to ensure accuracy and timeliness for the AMCO Customer Experience team.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to discuss the design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs.

Gathering the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts.

Providing clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends.

Using CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce plans for management and client approval.

Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.

Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained.

Ensuring that all layouts and blueprints are readily communicated with business partners (PM, Fabrication Manager, etc.)Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in the construction industry. Expertise with blueprints, construction drawings, and various drafting software (CAD). Strong time management and understanding of mathematics. Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.

Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments.

BSc/BA in engineering, building science, design, or relevant field a plus.

Resides within commuting distance to Fort Worth, Texas.
