$75,000 - $90,000 ( USD )

Permanent A more technical sales role for someone who enjoys getting into the details of a project. You'll focus on selling architectural walls and ceiling products into the Austin commercial market — working with architects, contractors, and facilities teams on projects where the technical fit matters as much as the relationship. This is a great fit for someone who likes solving problems as much as closing deals. Responsibilities Drive sales of architectural walls and ceiling products across commercial, corporate, and institutional projects Work closely with architects, general contractors, and facilities teams to understand project specifications and technical requirements Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to guide product recommendations Develop and present technical proposals, including product performance, code compliance, and installation considerations Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams on lead times, specifications, and project logistics Manage the sales pipeline from lead through installation handoff Build long-term relationships with architecture and construction firms in the Houston market Skills and Experience Experience in architectural products, construction, or technical/commercial sales Comfortable reading architectural plans and specifications Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset Relationship-building skills with architects, GCs, and project managers Prior experience with walls, ceilings, or interior building products a strong plus, but not required Benefits and Culture $70,000-$90,000 base plus commission A specialized, less-crowded niche with strong margins and long project cycles Support from an experienced design and operations team Direct exposure to major commercial construction projects across Houston Health benefits, PTO, and standard company holidays A culture that values technical expertise and rewards it accordingly Consultant Sean Grieve Consultant - Architectural and Interior Product sean.g@bespokecareers.
