Responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of shelter drawings and structural systems as assigned. Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for the shelter and structural design and is responsible for their accuracy. Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, customer supplied drawings and electrical designer drawings to do shelter design. Perform a variety of calculations following standard procedures. Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress. Works on projects of limited complexity composing of mainly single concrete shelters. Assists other designers as needed. Checks/Marks up team members drawings as required. Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff or customers as needed. Possible travel as needed. Performs other assigned duties as required by management. AutoCAD or Revit Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer programs:
Windows, Word, Excel, the latest release of AutoCAD, the latest release of Revit. Knowledge of algebra and geometry and mathematical formulas. Technical ability in the Structural, Architectural, and Mechanical fields.
