Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative BIM Designer to join our dynamic architectural and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models that facilitate seamless project coordination, design accuracy, and efficient construction workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CAD and 3D modeling software, with an emphasis on creating comprehensive digital representations of building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex design solutions while advancing your expertise in BIM technology. Responsibilities Develop installation/erection drawings under senior team guidance Translate engineering concepts into SolidWorks and other 3D modeling systems following company standards Generate precise shop tickets for precast structures using specialized 3D modeling platforms Submit completed shop cards to Project Lead for quality verification Address and implement corrections from review markups Create steel fabrication documentation from designer/engineer specifications Exercise professional judgment when interpreting design requirements Maintain regular communication with cross-departmental colleagues, leadership, customers, and vendors Uphold all safety and quality standards in daily work performance
Requirements:
2+ yrs prior drafting/design experience working with Revit/SolidWorks or other 3D design software, required. Certifications preferred. Prior precast concrete design experience, required. Associates Degree preferred - Design/Drafting related degree preferred #ST101
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
