Architect

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Architect to lead and oversee architectural and construction projects from concept through completion, while also managing the residential architecture and design team. This individual will serve as the stamped Architect of Record for the residential studio. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in design principles, proven project management experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Success in this role requires proactive problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule. The primary objective of this position is to coordinate all residential projects across the firm, ensuring exceptional client service, adherence to timelines, and consistent excellence in architectural design. Duties Manage all phases of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable project plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, interior designers, and construction professionals. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp for design development and project documentation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards. Prepare detailed project budgets and manage financial resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Engage in business development activities to identify new opportunities and foster client relationships. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members on design techniques and project management best practices. Skills Licensed Architect in WA state 10-15 years of experience in architectural project coordination. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, and SketchUp. Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage project finances efficiently. Knowledge of interior design principles is a plus. Excellent business development acumen to support growth initiatives within the firm. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to create sketches that effectively communicate design concepts. Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
