BIM Modeler TuttiQuanti LLC Tukwila, WA Job Details Full-time $28 - $34 an hour 9 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications ERP systems Process improvement MRP Revit Attention to detail Building information modeling (BIM) tools Full Job Description Our client, a custom home manufacturer in the Greater Seattle area, is seeking a BIM Modeler to step into a hands-on, detail-driven role within their drafting and production environment. This position plays a key role in moving projects from design into buildable, order-ready packages, working directly within Revit models to support material quantity extraction and project execution. The material takeoff process is well-established and follows a clear, structured workflow, though it is largely manual today. This role will begin by learning that process and supporting the team in executing takeoffs, with the opportunity to deepen involvement over time. As the team continues building toward a more automated, BIM-driven approach, this individual will contribute to ongoing improvements, particularly within Revit workflows, families, and schedules. This role partners closely with Job Captains, drafting, and internal technical teams to support accurate and efficient project execution. This is an opportunity for a BIM Modeler with exposure to material takeoffs, quantity extraction, and construction documentation to expand into a more process-driven, production-focused role. Day-to-Day as
BIM Modeler:
  • Work directly within Revit models to support material quantity extraction alongside construction drawings and engineering plans.
  • Review project documentation to ensure alignment across plans, specifications, and inputs prior to takeoff.
  • Perform quantity extraction within Revit models, using schedules and model data to support material takeoffs.
  • Follow a structured, step-by-step workflow to ensure consistency and completeness across projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with Job Captains, Studio leadership, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, gather missing information, and support projects through completion and post-delivery follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within the current workflow, partnering with internal IT and technical resources to implement automation over time.
What You Bring:
  • Hands-on experience with Revit, including working with schedules and editing families is required.
  • Experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role within a construction, architectural, or fabrication environment.
  • Exposure to material takeoffs, quantity extraction, or construction documentation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work through structured, process-driven work with consistency and accuracy.
  • A practical problem-solver who can identify gaps in workflows and contribute to improving accuracy and efficiency in an evolving environment.
  • Exposure to residential or post and beam construction is preferred but not required.
  • ERP or MRP system experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to work fully on-site in the Greater Seattle Area, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid work schedule after 90 days.
Our client offers an hourly range of $28-$34/h, as well as medical, dental, vision benefits, 401K, PTO and paid holidays.
