In short, we've been helping Alaskans and those who love fishing in Alaska catch more fish since the 1950s and we couldn't be prouder of that fact.Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, onsite Reel Repair Technician to join our in-house Tackle Repair Team in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect reels for damage and repairs, and reassemble in a timely manner. Clean and repair reels per factory specifications. Safely use and maintain tools, including power tools and handling of liquids. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace. Provide excellent customer service and communication. Meticulous record keeping skills and the ability to multitask. Update customers on progress and repair needs in a timely manner. Assist with other tasks during slower periods as requested or needed.Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year experience as a service technician or similar role. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as well as receive feedback from others. Meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Excellent record keeping habits. Excellent follow-through and customer follow up skills. Willingness to work weekends as/when necessary. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. You'll be a good fit at our shop if: You enjoy working behind the scenes as well as dealing with customers on a one-on-one, more personal basis. You're passionate about fishing and the great outdoors, and have a deep appreciation for Alaska. You take pride in working for Alaskan owned and operated small businesses.
