Job Description

Instrumentation Technician In fast-paced manufacturing environments, the Instrumentation Specialist combines technical expertise with hands-on troubleshooting to support production uptime, process control, and operational performance. This is a detail-oriented, active role that installs, calibrates, maintains, and repairs the electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems that keep automated manufacturing operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and equipment Working with industrial switchgear, transformers, and motor control centers (MCCs) Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Working with PLC controls and electro-mechanical systems Designing, specifying, and ordering materials for electrical support systems Making manual adjustments to steam boilers when required Following NEC standards and company safety procedures
Qualifications:
Two-year degree or certificate in Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation, OR a State Electrical License Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls Ability to read schematics and work with PLCs
