Job Description

Field Service Technician -Industrial Boilers/Combustion SystemsDirect Hire/PermLocation - Based out of Northern/Central Alabama with regular regional travel and work onsite at customer locations throughout the region ( Local travel, not more than a handful of overnights per quarter)Are you a hands-on technician with a knack for diagnosing and repairing complex industrial boiler/combustion systems?

We're seeking aField Service Boiler Technicianto join a specialized team supporting industrial steam and hot water systems across the Northern Alabama area, and covering the rest of the state, and northern MS, as/when needed. We DO NOT have a facility in the area, so you will not be required to be onsite at a plant/facility when not visiting client sites.

This is atravel-based rolerequiring regular visits to customer facilities foron-site service, troubleshooting, and repairof high-pressure boiler and burner systems.

You'll be the frontline expert ensuring uptime and safety for mission-critical equipment in manufacturing plants, healthcare facilities, universities, and utilities. Key ResponsibilitiesPerformon-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairson industrial boilers, burners, and combustion control systems.

Conduct scheduled maintenance, emergency service calls, and code-compliant repairs.

Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and combustion curves to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Collaborate with internal support teams and customer personnel to ensure safe and efficient system operation.

Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Travel regionally to customer sites across Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and surrounding areas.

What You BringProven experience servicingindustrial boiler and combustion systems(steam, hot water, and specialty applications).Strong understanding ofNFPA, IRI, Factory Mutual, and OSHAstandards.

Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including flame safeguard systems and burner controls.

Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.

Technical certifications or trade school training in boiler systems, HVAC, or industrial maintenance are a plus.

PLC programming/controls experience is a PLUS.Perks & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience, with an hourly rate being offered in the $30-45/hour range, perhaps a bit more for SENIOR and VERY targeted professionals.

We offer a Company vehicle/work truck and tools provided for field service work, but if your own vehicle is used, we offer compensation.
