Job Description
Dynetics , a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos , is seeking talented Electronics Technician Co-Op student to join a diverse team dedicated to creating unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaged in defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive and cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions. Primary Responsibilities. The Dynetics Technician Co-Op Program is actively seeking community college or trade school students to work at our Huntsville, AL facility. This program offers students the opportunity to experience hands-on technical work that supports ongoing projects in various disciplines at Dynetics. The co-op program focuses on the assembly and testing of Dynetics automotive test equipment products, with potential future opportunities in other technical areas. These part-time, parallel co-op positions are designed to continue across multiple semesters and may lead to future full-time employment opportunities. Basic Qualifications. Student must be pursuing an Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Candidates must have completed at least one semester of study, including one or more courses in Electrical Technology and one or more courses in Industrial Measurement, Quality, or Manufacturing Safety topics. Candidate must be a US Citizen. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required. The job requires long periods of sitting and/or standing. Candidate must frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 35 lbs several times per day. The role may also require periods of crouching, kneeling, or stooping, along with fine and gross manipulation of objects. Preferred Qualifications. Any related work experience (full-time or part-time) is considered a plus. Physical Requirements. This position requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing, as well as frequent lifting or moving of up to 35 pounds multiple times per day. The role may also involve periods of crouching, kneeling, and stooping, along with both fine and gross motor manipulation of objects. If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
