~15% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician V for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division .REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 9
years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 4 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 5 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Instrumentation - Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of 6 years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance. (Must be a U.S. Citizen.) Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Must have a valid driver's license.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events. Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering instructions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).RESPONSIBILITIES
Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from drawings. Use drawings, general and special test equipment to test cables, wiring harnesses, populated printed circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters. Use drawings, general and special tools and test equipment to assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits. Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles prior to test missions. Integrate network enabled test equipment. Troubleshoot complex issues related to test setup, board manufacturing defects. #CJ Qualifications:
