Maintenance

The opportunity: We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Trainee at our Conway AR folding carton facility. The Individual will be responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our facility. Qualified candidates will utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge using cutting torches, grinders, drill presses, hammer drills, braze metals, work on air line systems, and understand pneumatic systems in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics. Candidate will work positively with maintenance, electricians, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing constraints as well as being engaged in the preventative maintenance processes. \u2022 Effectively and efficiently work with various computer applications to maintain records and trouble shoot systems. \u2022 Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive lines. \u2022 Basic motor control troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. \u2022 Basic electrical experience (low voltage to 480V). Must be able to find a bad fuse. \u2022 Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. \u2022 Operate standard shop equipment (cutting torch, grinder, drill press, hammer drill).

What you need to succeed:

\u2022 Electrical experience (preferred). \u2022 Machining experience (preferred) - able to use lathe and mill. \u2022 Computer literate and able to be effective and efficient with various computer applications. \u2022 Good written and verbal communication skills. \u2022 Able to effectively work within a team environment. \u2022 Able to lift up to 50 pounds. \u2022 Willing and able to work varying shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed. Will begin training on days but may transition to nights in the future. \u2022 Must participate in safety programs and activities. \u2022 Must pass Mechanical aptitude test. \u2022 Position may require attending/passing of maintenance classes as needed/required.
