Job Description

Controls EngineerLocation:
Jonesboro, Arkansas, USAJoining Requirement Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are seeking experienced Automation Controls Engineers with strong expertise in Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC systems to support manufacturing automation initiatives in a factory environment. The ideal candidates must have strong onsite manufacturing plant experience supporting installation, commissioning, startup, and production support activities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot, and support Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC-based control systems. Perform onsite factory support during equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and production ramp-up activities. Develop and modify PLC programs using RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000. Configure and maintain HMI and SCADA systems. Support plant automation upgrades, FAT/SAT, and machine integration activities. Work closely with plant operations, maintenance, electrical, and production teams. Troubleshoot controls, electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related production issues. Support machine validation, testing, and commissioning activities at manufacturing facilities. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with: Allen-Bradley PLCs ControlLogix CompactLogix FactoryTalk View Studio 5000 / RSLogix Strong onsite factory experience supporting commissioning and installation activities. Experience supporting startup and production stabilization activities. Experience with industrial networking protocols such as Ethernet/IP. Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and process controls. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in manufacturing environments. Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in FMCG, consumer products, food & beverage, or manufacturing environments. Exposure to
MES/SCADA
integration. Ability to independently support onsite plant activities and commissioning efforts.
Pay:
$55.00 - $58.00 per hour
