Data Center Assembly Technician - 2nd Shift Penmac Staffing is hiring Data Center Assembly Technicians for a growing manufacturing operation supporting large-scale data center projects. This facility partners with industry-leading companies and manufactures HVAC systems and cooling solutions used in data center environments. We're seeking dependable candidates with assembly, construction, framing, remodeling, or mechanical experience who enjoy hands-on work and building high-quality products. This is a full-time opportunity on 2nd shift offering competitive pay and long-term potential. Pay & Schedule $18.00 per hour Full-time 2nd Shift Overtime may be available based on production needs Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity Requirements for the Data Center Assembly Technician Previous experience in assembly, construction, framing, remodeling, building trades, manufacturing, or mechanical installation preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship HVAC experience is a plus Electrical experience is a plus Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Stable work history with employment history accounted for Resume and professional references required Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand throughout the shift Must be willing to meet pre-employment requirements, including background screening Data Center Assembly Technician Responsibilities Assemble HVAC units and cooling system components used in data center applications Perform detailed mechanical assembly and component installation Read blueprints, schematics, and production documents Measure, cut, fit, and install components according to specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met Work with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing setting and may involve exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive use of hands and arms. Candidates with construction or mechanical assembly backgrounds often excel in this position.
