About The Job

In Siloam Springs, we specialize in the production of our Micro-V, Synchronous, and Bandless V-Belts, created in all sizes and dimensions. Our process starts with raw materials

  • molded, heated, and cut to size to meet specific orders.

When finished, our belts are marked with the Gates logo and shipped to customers around the world. An Electrical Technician's duties and responsibilities include the following: Build and test operability of electronic systems and components

Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning circuits, programs, and controls

Service or calibrate electronic test equipment or electronic control systems

Use RSLogix 5000 to troubleshoot programs for control logix and compact logix

Use RSLogix 500 to troubleshoot programs for Micro Logix, SLC 504 "s and SLC 505's

Use RSLogix 5 to troubleshoot programs for PLC 5's

Troubleshoot and install sensors, switches, light curtains, guidance systems

Set up and configure AB Servo Drives and tuning their motors

Set up and configure AC drives About You Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.

High School Diploma/GED required

  • Associate's Degree/Technical Certification preferred (electronics/electrical field)

  • 4 years of experience in related field preferred
    Must be able to diagnose and repair electronic equipment and also interpret electrical drawings/schematics and ladder diagrams
    Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
    Must have demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments
    Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
    Basic reading, math, computer (Microsoft Suite), and measurement skills required
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
