Job Description

The E&I technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging, in our continuous pulp and paper process manufacturing environment to achieve equipment run ability. Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic and instrumentation devices. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems. Initiate and complete work-orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis. The successful candidate will possess the following experience in an industrial setting. Motor Control Experience Experience with VFD's Experience in PLC Controls & I/O Wiring Voltage Experience 13,200 Efficiency with
Meters and Electrical Tools Process Control Experience Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience required Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
Physical Demands:
To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions: Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion Ability to hear sufficiently to distinguish various pitches of warning alarms. Able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
