In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and electronic equipment across various manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of electrical components, circuit boards, and automation systems, contributing to the seamless performance of our operations. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuit boards, and electronic components using diagnostic tools and electrical schematics. Perform root cause analysis on electrical failures to determine underlying issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), circuit testing devices, and electro-mechanical components. Support manufacturing operations by assembling electrical assemblies, surface mount technology (SMT) components, and wiring electrical systems according to schematics. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly for compliance and future reference. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles with experience in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams; familiarity with schematics software is a plus. Experience with PCB design, circuit testing, soldering techniques (including surface mount technology), and electronic circuit boards. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit; experience with MicroStation or SolidWorks is advantageous. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols for electrical installations. Competence in project scheduling and managing multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or scripting for automation purposes related to electrical diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge relevant to electro-mechanical systems; experience with equipment troubleshooting and repair is highly valued. Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment troubleshooting, and electronic system testing. Ability to read electrical blueprints accurately; experience working with schematics for complex systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering troubleshooting techniques for electronic systems. Excellent hand tool skills for assembly and repair tasks involving wiring or circuit boards.
