Job Description

Job Summary

Perform repair, modification, assembly, troubleshooting, and validation activities on aerospace products and AH-64 mechanical components. Support disassembly, fault isolation, component repair, fabrication, modification, and validation or verification testing while working under supervision and following applicable specifications and procedures.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
  
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  
• 10+ years of experience
  
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English
  
• Must be able to pass certification classes including Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing and Sealant
  
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
  
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems Job Duties & Functions
  
• Assist with disassembly of systems components to support correction of failures or implementation of changes
  
• Troubleshoot basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults
  
• Repair faulty components identified during troubleshooting activities
  
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
  
• Fabricate aerospace products according to specifications
  
• Modify aerospace products according to specifications
  
• Support safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle through activities such as jacking, towing, and system operations
  
• Repair AH-64 mechanical components
  
• Modify AH-64 mechanical components
  
• Assemble AH-64 mechanical components
  
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  
• Work under supervision Physical Requirements & Environment
  
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds
  
• Extended periods of standing are required
  
• Work is performed 100 onsite
