We have a growing need for a field service technician with the following requirements and capabilities:
POSITION TITLE
Field Service Technician This is not an entry level position.
LOCATIONS
Reside in
Arizona Job Functions:
Install new systems, upgrades, Retrofits, startup and troubleshooting at customer sites Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic integration. VFD's, servo and motor controls. Conduct product-specific system familiarization training onsite for end users. Perform equipment inspections and onsite system audits. Read schematics, electrical drawings, system diagrams, and ability to use electronic media. Provide trip reports, weekly expense reports and employee timesheets on a timely basis. The majority of the work day will be spent on customer field assignments Miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a technical degree, military experience, or certified trade training with a minimum of at least five years of experience in an automation and controls field. Current or recent field service experience strongly preferred. Must be technologically savvy, innovative, quick to learn and adapt to new technology.
Computer skills:
high degree of competency with Windows XP, Windows 7, OS Navigation. MS Office products, hardware/software, and network troubleshooting is preferred. Must possess excellent demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to document detailed audits and reports. Must have a positive, professional, and customer focused attitude at all times. Must possess excellent oral communication skills with the ability to break down complex subjects in simple and understandable terms. Must be detail-oriented, well organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Must possess exceptional time management skills with the ability to complete assigned projects independently. Must be experienced at planning and performing preventative maintenance. Thorough and concise follow-up skills are an essential responsibility and expectation of this job. Must be flexible and open to a fluid schedule and working environment.
