Job Description

Duration:
12 months, with the possibility to be extended or go on a permanent position
Location:
Tucson, AZ Schedule:
M-F, 1st shift hours (8am-5pm) with overtime Salary range: $40-$48/hr. (depending on experience) Summary Electronic Technician performs hands-on technical support for electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring equipment functionality through troubleshooting, testing, repair, and modification of components used in development and production environments. Job Description Fixes technical problems by applying principles and theories of electronics, mechanical engineering, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics. Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, systems, and related products and services. Work is more limited in scope and more practically oriented than that of scientists and engineers. Skills Required 7+ years of experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and physics. Ability to build, test, and repair electronic components and systems. Practical orientation toward technical tasks and applications.
