Opportunity Overview The Teradyne Hardware Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Calibration Engineer to focus on the development of hardware/SW systems & algorithms for products within the Compute Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment. This person will report directly to the Engineering Manager. Develop calibration programs and embedded algorithms for Digital, DC, AC & RF instrument calibration in the ATE equipment using C/C++/C# and Python. Develop a calibration strategy doc to define the HW circuits needed to allow the instrument meet it's accuracy specifications using knowledge in low level analog and digital circuits in automated test equipment. Participate in the development of HW error budget and offline & online validation of these error terms using statistical analysis techniques to identify specification and process compliance. Develop offline and online tests to validate instrument calibration and HW performance through simulations using VERILOG and SPICE. Debug problems identified by the calibration program and work with a cross functional team to implement corrective action. Develop programs to incorporate external measurement equipment as part of the calibration or validation programs using DMM, spectrum analyzers and power meters. All About You Experience creating programs and algorithms for various instruments usingC, C++, C
#, and Python. Experience creating calibration strategy documents to define necessary hardware circuits. Experience with VERILOG and/or SPICE BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with minimum of 1 to 2 years of experienceCompensation:
The base salary range for this role is $100,100-$160,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.Benefits:
