ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is currently hiring for an Electronics Technician Maintenance II in Camp Pendleton, CA.Job Duties:
To provide customer support on Camp Pendleton to the United States Marine Corps with the Joint Blue Force Command and Control Situational Awareness (JBFC2SA) Systems on multiple vehicle platforms (system previously known as JBC-P/Blue Force Tracker). Support will include the following vehicle platforms: MTVR, LVSR, AAV, HMMWV, JLTV, ABV, LAV, or any other requested platform in inventory In Accordance With (IAW) supplied Modification Instruction or Technical Instruction manuals (MI/TI). This will include Unit support with equipment installation, troubleshooting and Over the Shoulder Training when requested. Other duty requirements will include providing weekly written Situational Reports (Sitreps) back to home station Charleston, SC, provide local Help Desk Support, conduct unit Health Assessments, and log all daily actions. The position may also require travel to support unit exercises toCONUS/OCONUS
locations.Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED.Formal electronics training from:
Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors. Four (4) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout. One (1) year of practical experience in electronics installation.Note:
Experience may be concurrent.Required Security Clearance:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an active Full DOD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and familiarity of the BFT System with JBC-P and/or MMC.Target salary range:
