Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on bakery machinery, including ovens, mixers, refrigeration units, and conveyor systems. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, utilizing schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge. Use hand tools, power tools, and ladder systems safely to conduct repairs or install new equipment. Conduct electrical work, plumbing repairs, and refrigeration servicing as needed to ensure optimal machine performance. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions. Assist with appliance installation projects and ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements. Operate company vehicles for equipment delivery or maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and enhance overall bakery operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal team needs promptly and professionally during maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of industrial or commercial bakery equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, ladder use, and appliance repair techniques. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation is highly desirable. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and repair. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and provide clear technical guidance. Prior experience working with electrical systems or mechanical components in a manufacturing or bakery setting is preferred.
