Job Description
Description Engineering team is looking for highly motivated technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; Technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components, build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits
- Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered
- Support engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
- Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers
- Assemble & wire test fixtures
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Work with fabrication equipment (drills, Band Saw)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches) Skills mechanical, hand tools, ohms law, electrical Top Skills Details mechanical,hand tools Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to use basic measurement tools such as caliper, digital multimeter, and DAQs
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word)
- Strong organization skills
- Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Experience working with low voltage components.
- Previous experience with CAN communication Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
