La Verne, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Overhaul Technician Job Summary The Overhaul Technician is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, and testing air cooler units and related components to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Disassemble air coolers and related mechanical components for inspection and overhaul. Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects and determine repair or replacement needs. Repair, rebuild, and reassemble air coolers according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications. Replace fittings, plugs, seals, and elements, and other mechanical or electrical components as required. Perform functional and performance testing to ensure units operate correctly after overhaul. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and document findings. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and test results. Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair, overhaul, or industrial equipment maintenance (air coolers, HVAC, or similar equipment preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments. Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and use hands for extended periods. Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
