Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity in Foothill Ranch, CA, supporting scientific and technical production within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, electromechanical systems, wiring, testing, and technical documentation. The Electronics Technician will work in a collaborative manufacturing and engineering environment where precision, quality, and teamwork are essential. This opportunity offers exposure to complex electrical builds, instrumentation, epoxy casting processes, and design-for-assembly improvements while working closely with engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems, including wiring, cabling, racks, instrumentation, and related hardware.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and CAD models to complete accurate builds.
- Perform functional testing, inspections, and basic troubleshooting on assembled components and systems.
- Support the development and improvement of assembly procedures, work instructions, and build documentation.
- Assist with mold and form preparation, including mixing, pouring, degassing, and vacuum processing of epoxy resins.
- Inspect finished castings and assembled units for defects, quality issues, and compliance with design specifications. Compensation and Benefits
