Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing thorough in-depth troubleshooting on any non-functioning or faulted system, subsystem or component. Keep Management informed of specific problems and suggested actions, including approximate time required for repairs. Remove and replace controls components, reload parameters for PLC product lines, and other like components, such as server based controls or industrial PCs Troubleshoot and replace field bus communication components on the material handling conveyor systems, including addressing components and running diagnostics. Be able to remove and replace mechanical parts of the conveyor such as: repairing broken chain, belting, rollers drive motors, realigning or replacing control system sensors (photo-eyes), proximity, etc. Diagnose and replace as required electronic sensors including reprogramming and alignment. Perform Preventive Maintenance on multi axis robotic arms and End Of Arm Tools. Be proficient with conveyor maintenance including Preventive Maintenance (PM) actions on automated conveyor equipment as directed. Document repairs, PMs, parts usage, and time by completing work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Responsible for cleanup of equipment and removal of replaced parts from work areas after repairs are completed. Assist and train other automation team technicians in troubleshooting and repairs of any equipment as required, consistent with level of experience and training.
