This role requires strong technical expertise in electronics fundamentals, RF systems, avionics hardware, and electronic test equipment to ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical aerospace products. Key Responsibilities Testing & Evaluation Set up, perform, and analyze electronic experiments and tests according to established procedures. Accurately document test procedures, observations, measurements, and results. Verify system performance against specifications and engineering requirements. Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic systems and assemblies down to the Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) and component level. Repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuit assemblies using established repair techniques. Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions. Technical Documentation Interpret and work from: Electrical schematics Mechanical drawings Wiring diagrams Block diagrams Technical manuals and publications Maintain accurate test and repair records. Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate, maintain, and calibrate electronic test equipment, including: Digital Multimeters (DMMs) Oscilloscopes Power Supplies Signal Generators Function Generators Other specialized diagnostic tools Team Support & Collaboration Provide technical guidance and training to fellow technicians. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues. Escalate complex technical problems when necessary. Safety & Compliance Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures. Safely work with high-voltage, high-pressure, high-energy, cryogenic, and other potentially hazardous systems. Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity and quality. Required QualificationsEducation & Experience Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field plus 2+ years of relevant experience , OR Minimum 3+ years of direct electronics test and troubleshooting experience in lieu of a degree.
Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of:
Ohm's Law Electronic circuit analysis Operational amplifier (Op-Amp) circuits AC/DC power conversion principles Analog and digital electronics RF Systems Experience Knowledge of RF communications systems and components, including: RF amplifiers Filters Oscillators Mixers Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot RF-related issues.
