Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM (Optional Overtime)
Pay Rate:
$28•35 per hour, depending on experience (DPE) Company Overview International Process Solutions (IPS) supports the pharmaceutical and biotech industries through calibration and preventive maintenance of process equipment, facility systems, utilities, and QC laboratory instrumentation. IPS is also a factory-authorized OEM representative for multiple lines of pharmaceutical process equipment. Position Overview IPS is seeking Field Service Calibration Technicians to perform calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on pharmaceutical, mass, and temperature-controlled equipment. This role supports highly regulated environments where precision, compliance, and thorough documentation are essential. This is a local field service position requiring approximately 65-75% travel to multiple client sites, using your own vehicle. Key Responsibilities Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory and process instruments, including incubators, pipettes, balances, freezers, biological safety cabinets (BSCs), and fume hoods. Apply principles of measurement science, physics, mathematics, and electronics to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance. Perform preventive maintenance, including filter changes, lubrication, and basic mechanical adjustments. Follow IPS and client SOPs while maintaining accurate, complete, and professional documentation. Support quality control, metrology practices, and compliance with applicable international standards. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and coordinate solutions. Identify, document, and report equipment failures or nonconformances to IPS management and client contacts. Travel locally to customer sites as required; occasional overtime or weekend work may be needed. Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience calibrating pharmaceutical, mass, temperature, or electrical equipment. High school diploma required; technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience preferred. Military
PMEL/TMDE/DOD
training and familiarity with
ISO/IEC 17025
standards strongly preferred. Mechanical and/or electronics background to support calibration and maintenance activities. Strong attention to detail with a high standard for documentation accuracy and professionalism. Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in various customer environments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while using basic hand and power tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
