Job Summary Calibration Technician - Electronic Test EquipmentPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to support calibration activities for precision electronic measurement equipment used in internal service operations and customer applications. This role is responsible for maintaining calibration accuracy, performing equipment verification, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring measurement systems meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a solid foundation in electronics theory and measurement principles. Key Responsibilities Perform calibration, verification, and functional testing of a wide range of electronic measurement equipment. Support calibration processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards. Analyze test results, identify discrepancies, and perform root cause investigations to resolve technical issues. Troubleshoot electronic circuits, instruments, and test equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed calibration records, test documentation, and quality reports. Perform measurements using equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, analyzers, and other electronic test instruments. Follow established calibration procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and service quality. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve equipment-related challenges. Demonstrate strong attention to detail while maintaining accuracy and consistency in all calibration activities. Required Qualifications Experience performing calibration, testing, or verification of electronic equipment. Strong understanding of basic electronics theory, electrical measurements, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment and measurement tools. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation. Education Basic electronics theory and measurements. Experience in electronics manufacturing, laboratory testing, metrology, or equipment service environments. Familiarity with calibration standards, quality systems, and measurement processes. Experience troubleshooting analog and digital electronic systems. Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
