Electronics Technician - 218197

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electronics Technicians for a contract opportunity in Ventura, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

): Read and understand drawings and diagrams, can conduct physical and electronic tests on electronic assemblies and subassemblies, disassembly and reassembly of electronic assemblies and subassemblies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety standards. Be able to follow and execute procedures, standards, and sequences. Have attention to detail Have experience with reading and interpreting process specs and drawings.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Some climbing on ladders (3 - 5 feet) may be required as well as lifting up to 50 lbs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.

WORK HOURS

5/40-1st Shift. Must be able to work any shift.

ADDITIONAL

Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
