Maintenance Technician II - Mechanical & Robotics Job Description As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be integral to the Operations Maintenance team, focusing on the repair and maintenance of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems within the facility. Your expertise will contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Responsibilities Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems. Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Mentor junior technicians and supervise maintenance activities. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in material handling systems. Engage in risk management and support project management initiatives. Essential Skills Experience in maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning. Proficiency in conveyor maintenance and automation control systems. Data analysis and project management capabilities. Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and CMMS. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Demonstrated safety standards experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. 2+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment. Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE. High school diploma or equivalent. Why Work Here? The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Victorville, CA.
