Apply knowledge of electrical and electronic principles to build, test, adjust, repair, modify electronic devices and electrical components of the broadcast and satellite communication products, set up and maintain product displays and functioning equipment for trade shows, provide customer technical support, and maintain product documentation. Apply knowledge and techniques of microelectronic systems and automatic test equipment to inspect and test new products from overseas factories to ensure functionality, performance and compliance with the product designs and specifications and the company standards. Employ knowledge of electronics, radio and transmission systems, and optical and satellite communications to provide technical support to customers and end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email, live chat or remote support app. Utilize knowledge and techniques of engineering science, video equipment, and test equipment to diagnose and analyze the returned products to identify issues, repair or reassemble the products if applicable and document findings for design or manufacturing defects for the factories' improvement of design and manufacturing. Set up product displays at tradeshows, company events and customer meetings to ensure the proper product representation; maintain the equipment functionality and assist the marketing team with technical questions and representation. Prepare and maintain product documentation including but not limited to testing reports, customer support cases, repair record, and other technical activities report. For ODM and OEM cases, apply practical knowledge of project and production to assist marketing teams to identify the customers' requirements and specifications of products, and examine the technical feasibility and recommend the possible modification. Coordinate with the engineering team of factories for the product technical issues, such as customer specifications and requirements, selection of equipment, components and systems, and prior malfunction issues. Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering, or a foreign degree equivalent, and 12 months' experience as a technician in broadcast and satellite communications devices.
