Using OEM-approved equipment and procedures, you'll ensure cameras, radar, lidar, and other safety systems are accurately calibrated and fully functional before vehicles return to the road. Key Responsibilities Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations in accordance with OEM specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot ADAS-related issues using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic scan tools. Calibrate cameras, radar, lidar, ultrasonic sensors, and other ADAS technologies. Conduct pre- and post-calibration inspections. Interpret OEM service information, repair procedures, wiring diagrams, and calibration requirements. Document calibration procedures and results accurately. Ensure all calibrations meet manufacturer safety standards. Maintain equipment and a clean work area. Collaborate with technicians and service advisors. Stay current with evolving ADAS technologies. Required Qualifications 1-2 years of automotive repair, diagnostics, collision repair, or related experience. Experience using OEM or aftermarket scan tools. Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems knowledge. Ability to read repair manuals and wiring diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; technical education preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous ADAS calibration experience. ASE (A6, A8) or equivalent certifications. I-CAR Certification. Experience in collision repair or windshield replacement. Familiarity with Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda, Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru, and other OEM calibration procedures. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds. Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Safely operate vehicles and calibration equipment. Work in varying shop temperatures. What Success Looks Like Accurate OEM-compliant calibrations.
